AC-only and AC/DC clamps use different physics inside the jaw · review
BSIDE Pocket clamp meter, 1 mA resolution review
A pocket clamp with 1 mA resolution for finding leakage and parasitic drain, an automatic multimeter mode, and a color screen — in a body under twenty centimeters long.
What the figures leave us with A specialist instrument that happens to be pocket sized. The milliamp resolution is why you would own one.
Most clamps measure load. This one measures what leaks.
What the manufacturer publishes
A true-RMS clamp with 1 mA resolution, stated to detect and measure parasitic discharge and leakage currents precisely, and described as ideal for fault-finding. A smart auto mode in which the instrument works as a beginner-friendly digital multimeter, automatically detecting AC and DC voltage, resistance and diodes. A color LCD with a wide viewing angle, stated as readable in dark environments. Dimensions of 19.2 × 4.5 × 3.0 cm (7.6 × 1.8 × 1.2 in).
Why a milliamp matters
An ordinary clamp resolves tenths of an amp, which is the right resolution for load current and useless for a fault that draws twenty milliamps. Two very common problems live in that range: a vehicle battery flat every morning, and an RCD that trips once two weeks for no visible reason. Both are found by measuring a current a normal clamp reports as zero.
What is not published
No category rating and no maximum current. The first is the pattern of this whole family; the second is unusual and worth checking in the manual before assuming it will read a load.

What gets asked here
What is 1 mA resolution for?
Finding currents far too small for a normal clamp: a parasitic drain flattening a car battery overnight, or a leakage current tripping an RCD intermittently. BSIDE states the UX1 detects and measures parasitic discharge and leakage currents precisely.
What is the smart auto mode?
The meter works by default as a beginner-friendly multimeter, automatically identifying AC or DC voltage, resistance and diodes rather than requiring the right dial position.
What is the maximum current?
The listing does not state it. For a leakage-focused clamp that is a secondary specification, but it is a real omission.

Who should pick this one, among measuring instruments
Chasing a parasitic drain on a vehicle, or a leakage current that a normal clamp reads as zero.

A trade mini-clamp reading load currents to 400 A with true-RMS, an inrush function and a low-pass filter at around 160 Hz for suppressing the switching noise of motor drives.
Best for: Motor and lighting installations where the drive noise is the reason previous readings made no sense.
1000 A AC/DC · 750 V AC / 1000 V DC · inrush · VFD and LoZ modes
The highest current range here at 1000 A AC and DC, with an inrush mode for motor starting currents and VFD and low-impedance modes for drives and ghost voltages.
Best for: Motor and drive work, where inrush and VFD filtering are the two modes that make the reading meaningful.
An 800 A AC and DC clamp with true-RMS and 6000 counts, positioned by its maker for solar and balcony photovoltaic work — which is where the DC capability earns its keep.
Best for: Solar and battery work, where the current is direct and an AC-only clamp reads nothing at all.
