On paper the LM100 is the strongest meter in this hub, and the paper is the manufacturer’s own.

Range and accuracy are independent, and listings routinely pair a long range with no accuracy figure at all. Here both are published, and the accuracy figure is the tightest in the hub — tighter than the ± 2 mm of the RockSeed and the ± 3 mm/m of the Bosch EasyDistance. That is a claim, not a certificate, and this site is not a testing body; what it is, is a claim the maker has committed to in writing.
The Leica in this hub reaches the same 100 m and costs six times more. What it publishes that this does not: Bluetooth export into an app that keeps the measurements, and a fold-out end piece for measuring out of a corner or a groove. If your measurements need to end up in a document rather than on a notepad, that is the difference. If they end up on a notepad, this reaches just as far.

The limiting factor outdoors is seeing the dot on the target, not the electronics. At long range in bright sun a red dot becomes hard to place, which is what receivers and target plates exist for.
