The pack size that makes a flat instrument a two-minute problem.
What the manufacturer publishes
A 9 V block with G-TECH technology, stated to bring higher efficiency, better conductivity and longer life. A multi-purpose 9 volt block battery, listed as ideally suited for use in a variety of devices including measuring instruments and smoke detectors. Alternative designations: 6LR61, MN1604, E-Block, 6F22, PP3HP, 1604D, 6LF22, 6LP3146, 6LF62, M1604.
Why eight is the right number for a workshop
Count the 9 V instruments in this catalog: multimeters, moisture meters, detectors, sound level meters. A workshop with four of them and a single spare cell has, in practice, no spare — because it is already in something.
And the same caution as the other two packs
None of these listings publishes a leak-protection figure, because none exists as a standard specification. The protection is procedural: take the cell out before storage.
Availability
Catalogued and unsold: the American Amazon shop lists the reference with nobody behind it.

What gets asked here
What are all those alternative names?
6LR61, MN1604, E-Block, 6F22, PP3 and the rest are the same 9 V block under different naming systems. GP lists them, which is genuinely useful when a manual specifies one and the shop shelf says another.
Is eight too many?
It depends how many 9 V instruments you own. Multimeters, moisture meters, detectors and sound meters all take them, so a workshop gets through them — and an unused cell ages either way.
What is G-TECH?
GP's name for its construction, stated to give higher efficiency, better conductivity and longer life. It is a manufacturer claim and we report it as one.
The cheap four-pack for instruments that run on a 9 V block, with a stated three-year shelf life — the figure that matters for a cell that sits in a drawer.

four-pack
A stated three-year shelf life, which is the relevant number for an instrument used twice a year
A design the maker describes as protecting the device, with leak resistance in mind
No leak-protection guarantee published beyond the description
Best for: Instruments used often enough that the cell is replaced before it ages.
The only receiver here that states its range laser by laser — and the only one whose beeper can be turned up for a noisy site.
Functions
Dual compatibility with red and green beam lasers, stated, and the working range given PER LASER: up to 330 ft diameter with the GLL3-330CG or GLL3-330C, 300 ft with the GLL3-300, 165 ft with the GCL 2-160. It is the only receiver on this shelf to state the range laser by laser, which is the honest way round — a receiver does not create range, it reveals the laser's
Measuring mode
An ADJUSTABLE audio signal giving a clear indication of on-grade positioning, stated to adjust to worksite noise levels. It is the only adjustable beeper on this shelf, and it is the feature that decides whether the tone is audible beside a compressor or intolerable in a quiet room. An oversized receiver window is stated for fast reception and finding the center line, and able to catch beams midair
Display
A backlit oversized LCD for easier beam detection in dark or outdoor areas, plus DUAL-SIDED LED arrow indicators for a visual readout on both sides of the receiver. Two faces, where one receiver on this shelf has three
Reference and mounting
A quick-release mounting bracket stated to attach to a leveling rod, plus heavy-duty magnets for metal surfaces. The magnets are the second mounting route and the faster one — a receiver on a steel stud or a door frame needs no bracket at all
Ingress protection
IP54, stated to withstand rainy or dusty jobsite conditions. One receiver on this shelf is IP55, which resists water jets rather than spray
Also stated
Four compatible Bosch lasers are named. No incompatibility list is published, and nothing on the page says that the laser needs a pulse mode switched on — which this shelf's buying tip calls the condition that decides whether the two work together at all
Supplied
The receiver and the mounting bracket. No accuracy bands are published, which this shelf's introduction lists as one of five comparisons

Adjustable audio for a noisy site
A hundred and twenty dollars, the most expensive receiver here
Best for: A Bosch line laser taken outdoors, where the beep has to carry over a compressor
The receiver that removes the diode-color question: Bosch states it takes both red and green beams to 50 m (164 ft), through an 8 cm (3.1 in) window, in an IP54 body.

Best for: Anyone who owns more than one laser, or expects to.
The only receiver here that names what it will not work with — fifteen of its own maker's lasers, by model number.
Functions
Detects red AND green pulsed beams in bright light to a working range of 200 ft (60 m) — stated, and stated three times over that the laser's PULSE MODE must be turned on and kept on. This shelf's buying tip says to confirm the laser has a pulse or manual/receiver mode before buying a receiver at all; Huepar does not leave that to the buyer
Also stated
FIFTY-TWO compatible Huepar and Huepar Pro models are listed by number — and then a second bullet lists FIFTEEN that are NOT, naming the 9011G, 9211G, FL360R, FL360G, 8300G, B011G, B011R, FC011G, FC011R, 9300G and GK011DG line lasers and the RL200HR, RL200HVG, RL300HR and RL300HVG rotary lasers, because they have no pulse mode. No other receiver on this shelf publishes an exclusion list of any kind
Display
Readouts on the FRONT, the SIDE and the BACK of the receiver, stated. Three faces is the most on this shelf, where the next has two — and the side face is the one that matters when the receiver is clamped to a rod and read from an angle
Measuring mode
Optical and acoustic signals to locate the laser plane, with beeps when the target is found, plus a dual-sided bubble vial on the front AND the top to confirm the receiver itself is level. No accuracy bands are published, which this shelf's introduction lists as one of five comparisons
Power
A 9 V dry battery giving about 70 working hours, with automatic shut-off after about 8 minutes idle. Seventy hours is the longest stated life on this shelf and the eight-minute timeout the shortest — both of which favor a receiver that gets picked up and put down all day
Reference and mounting
A heavy-duty clamp attached, stated to mount the detector to a rod or other target point. This shelf's introduction asks about clamp fit; the clamp is included rather than optional, which two of the three receivers here manage
Supplied
The receiver, the clamp and a 9 V battery. Huepar also writes out a power-on check — confirm the battery polarity, short-press the button, look for a red indicator — which is unusual and useful on a tool whose first symptom of a flat cell is silence
